The current global hegemon and the “muscle” enforcing the petrodollar-system and the “Rules-Based International Order.” In Jiang’s framework, the US is not a nation pursuing its interests - it’s a host organism being consumed by transnational-capital parasites while simultaneously being deliberately crashed by its own president.

Role in the Framework

The US serves two contradictory functions:

  1. The Empire. The military and financial infrastructure that enforces the global price-hierarchy. CENTCOM protects oil trade routes. The dollar system extracts wealth globally. The military-industrial-complex converts tax revenue into private profit.

  2. The Target. Under Trump’s strategy (CLAIM-008-trump-technate), the empire itself must be destroyed to purge the parasites and rebuild as the technate.

The Internal War

The US is riven by elite-overproduction - two elite factions fighting to control the machinery of state:

Old Elite (wall-street-actor)

  • Democrats, legacy media, academia
  • Protect the existing financial extraction system
  • Want the Iran war to fail so they can blame Trump and recapture power
  • Need government bailouts for their $2 trillion private credit bubble

Counter-Elite (silicon-valley-actor)

  • MAGA, tech oligarchs, AI industry
  • Want to replace the old extraction system with a new one (AI surveillance)
  • Want the Iran war to create emergency powers
  • Need government bailouts for the AI bubble

Both factions support the war for opposite domestic reasons. The law-of-proximity ensures the domestic game always overrides the foreign one.

Military Weakness

Despite being the most expensive military in history, the US is structurally weak:

  • Inverse cost-pyramid: Relies on exorbitantly expensive weapons (F-35, Gerald Ford carrier, THAAD) that are neutralized by cheap asymmetric weapons
  • military-industrial-complex corruption: Weapons are designed to spend money, not win wars (CLAIM-014-mic-siphon)
  • No manufacturing base: Can’t produce munitions for a sustained war of attrition
  • No political will: The “Nation Game” model means commitment is transactional, not existential

Predicted Fate

  1. Loses the war against Iran (CLAIM-001-us-iran-war)
  2. Institutes a national draft (CLAIM-003-national-draft-civil-war)
  3. Draft triggers civil unrest, then civil war
  4. Engineered economic collapse wipes out transnational-capital’s US positions
  5. Retreats from global stage
  6. Rebuilds as the technate - a self-sufficient North American manufacturing bloc under Christian Nationalism

Key Insight

The US isn’t declining accidentally. In Jiang’s framework, it’s being deliberately crashed from the inside (by Trump) and from above (by transnational capital moving to Israel). The question isn’t whether the empire falls but which faction controls what comes after.
