Wall Street (The Old Elite)
In the elite-overproduction framework, Wall Street represents the establishment faction - the “old elite” that has controlled the American state through financial extraction for decades, now facing an existential challenge from the counter-elite.
The Faction
- Political alignment: Democrats, legacy institutions
- Economic base: Finance, private credit, media, academia
- Key institutions: Major banks, hedge funds, legacy media (NYT, CNN)
- Financial interest: Government bailouts for the $2 trillion private credit bubble
What They Want
- Maintain the empire - The global financial extraction system benefits them
- Iran war as weapon - Want the war to be a catastrophe they can blame on Trump
- 2028 victory - Use the disaster to recapture the presidency
- Bailout - Secure government backing for their financial positions before the crash
The Losing Position
Jiang suggests the old elite is fighting a losing battle:
- The petrodollar-system they depend on is collapsing
- Trump is deliberately purging their institutional positions
- The Epstein files (CLAIM-013-epstein-intel-networks) are being used to destroy their authority
- Their financial bubble will pop alongside the counter-elite’s, but they have less political protection
The Epstein Dimension
The Substack article “Twilight of the Liberal Elite” frames the Epstein file release as a strategic weapon:
- Released in batches, each more explosive
- Targets the liberal establishment (academics, politicians, media figures)
- Destroys “elite authority” (Hannah Arendt’s framework)
- Paves the way for autocratic governance by discrediting democratic institutions
