Christian Nationalism

The ideological foundation for the technate. Not traditional Christianity applied to politics, but a specific fusion of religious identity, national renewal, and resistance to the secular global order.

In the Framework

Christian Nationalism serves as the cohesion mechanism for post-empire America. Per the social-contract-vs-iron-and-blood analysis, the American “Nation Game” (meritocratic, transactional) is collapsing because the game is visibly rigged. Christian Nationalism provides a replacement basis for social cohesion:

  • Identity: “We are a Christian nation” replaces “we are a nation of immigrants”
  • Purpose: Building the Technate replaces maintaining the empire
  • Enemy: Secular globalism / transnational-capital replaces terrorism
  • Cohesion: Religious duty replaces transactional self-interest

Key Actors

  • Trump - Uses Christian Nationalism as political fuel
  • JD Vance - The “technetronic president” who bridges tech and faith
  • Peter Hegseth - Freemasonic/evangelical apocalyptic eschatology, “warrior ethos,” wants to rebuild Solomon’s Temple
  • Peter Thiel - Argued liberalism must yield to theocracy
  • Evangelical base - christian-zionist-eschatology overlaps with domestic nationalism

Connection to Eschatology

Christian Nationalism intersects with christian-zionist-eschatology but isn’t identical:

  • Christian Zionism: Supports Israel for theological reasons (Third Temple, Second Coming)
  • Christian Nationalism: Prioritizes American renewal, may eventually conflict with Israeli interests

This tension is built into the technate vs pax-judaica-concept dynamic. The eschatological alliance between American evangelicals and Israel is temporary - once America retreats from global empire, the domestic focus of Christian Nationalism diverges from Israel’s global ambitions.
