A massive resource fortress serving as the opposing pole to the Western financial order. In Jiang’s framework, Russia’s behavior is driven not by conventional geopolitics but by russian-orthodox-eschatology - the belief that Moscow is the Third Rome, the last defender of true Christianity.

Role in the Framework

Russia is one of the three predicted post-collapse power blocs (alongside the technate and Pax Judaica). Its current actions are preparation for surviving and thriving after the global system collapses.

Strategy: Deliberate Isolation

Following Aleksandr Dugin’s framework, Russia is intentionally:

  1. Militarizing its economy. The Ukraine war isn’t about Ukraine - it’s about transforming Russia into a total war economy that can survive without Western integration.

  2. Isolating from Western finance. Sanctions and asset freezes (intended as punishment) actually serve Russia’s goal of decoupling from a financial system it expects to collapse.

  3. Unifying through conflict. The war spiritually unifies the population around Orthodox identity and civilizational mission, building the cohesion needed for the coming period of global chaos.

  • At war with: Ukraine, NATO (by proxy)

  • Eschatological adversary: Pax Judaica (the “Anti-Christ” AI state in Orthodox framing)

Predicted Fate

  1. Wins in Ukraine (though slowly - war of attrition)
  2. Destroys NATO as a credible military alliance
  3. Survives the global economic collapse because it already decoupled
  4. Unites the Orthodox world under the Third Rome banner
  5. Anchors a new Eurasian bloc with vast agricultural and energy resources
  6. Eventually faces Pax Judaica in the prophesied War of Gog and Magog

Key Insight

Russia isn’t reacting to events - it’s preparing for a collapse it considers inevitable. What looks like aggression (Ukraine) or foolishness (isolation from the West) is actually positioning. If the global system collapses as Jiang predicts, Russia emerges as one of the few pre-adapted survivors.
