21st Century Warfare Doctrine
Core idea: Modern great-power war no longer primarily uses conventional military force. The new doctrine combines economic strangulation, ethnic tension exploitation, and civilian infrastructure destruction to collapse enemy societies from within — while maintaining plausible deniability.
The Three Vectors
According to Jiang’s analysis in GT#22, 21st century warfare operates on three simultaneous axes:

Economic strangulation. Cut off energy, food, and financial supply chains. The strait-of-hormuz-chokepoint closure is the prototype: deny oil → collapse fertilizer → collapse food systems. Targeted supply chain disruption is cheaper and more decisive than military engagement.

Ethnic tension cultivation. Inflame pre-existing ethnic, religious, and class divisions within target nations. Intelligence agencies (color-revolution-playbook) seed narratives, fund opposition groups, and amplify grievances until the society fractures from within. External armies are then unnecessary — the target destroys itself.

Civilian infrastructure targeting. Power grids, water treatment, hospitals, fuel depots. GT#21 documents 50+ oil refinery fires across 45 days globally — a pattern consistent with coordinated infrastructure attack. The goal is not to win battles but to make normal life impossible.
Why It Replaces Conventional War
- Cheaper. No need for trillion-dollar expeditionary forces (military-industrial-complex).
- Deniable. Economic pressure, sabotage, and “spontaneous” unrest are hard to attribute.
- Targets populations, not armies. Conventional armies can retreat; civilian populations cannot.
- Scales to great powers. Even nuclear-armed nations can be destabilized below the nuclear threshold.
Relationship to Depopulation
GT#22’s doctrine provides the mechanism for CLAIM-015-depopulation-resource-wars: mass death is not incidental but structural. When food systems are deliberately disrupted via energy warfare, the resulting famine is a predictable outcome of doctrine — not collateral damage.
The 50 Refinery Fires Pattern
GT#21 specifically highlights a global wave of refinery fires in early 2026 as evidence of 21st century warfare in practice. No single fire constitutes proof, but 50+ in 45 days across multiple countries exceeds statistical probability of accident — consistent with coordinated economic destabilization.
